Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa1) has asked land grabbers to stay away from Ibadan land or prepare to face the full wrath of law.

“I am not happy with the activities of the land grabbers in Ibadan ranging from threat, intimidation, beating to the forceful seizure of the land from the rightful land owners”, the monarch expressed his displeasure after land dispute settlement meeting held at Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan.

In the press release issued and signed by Ayoade Solomon Olugbemiga, the Chief Press Secretary to Olubadan, the monarch solicited the support of all traditional rulers in Ibadanland and law enforcement agents to ensure that the cases of land grabbing is reduced to the bearest minimum if not totally eradicated.

According to the paramount ruler, Ibadanland is meant for developmental projects such as farming, establishment of industries, cultural/tourist centers for the benefit of all and Sundry, so if the activities of the land grabbers continue, all these might not be achieved.

Present at the said meeting were Oba Dauda Abiodun Azees, the Ashipa Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin, the Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland,  Lowo Obisesan, Aare Alasa of Ibadanland, Mogajis and Baales as well as members of the public.
