SMEs urged to leverage logistics, digital solutions for business growth

Nnamdi Okoh, the chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder of Terminal Africa, a software logistics aggregator company in Lagos, have urged Nigerian SMEs to leverage logistics and digital solutions for business growth.

Okoh stated this during a panel session on ‘Simplifying Logistics Solutions for Business Growth’ at the just concluded AfricaNXT Conference, held at Landmark Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Moderated by Jadesola Adewodun, the panel which included Nnamdi Okoh (CEO | Co-founder, Terminal Africa), Charles Edosomwan (CEO, Teksight Edge), Walter Isoko (Head of Growth, Terminal Africa), and Sandra Ifeoma Iheuwa (CEO, Ella Logistics) discussed extensively on the benefits of digital logistics solutions, the rising awareness of logistics tech, and how this innovation has helped business owners achieve their business goals and improved logistics processes.

According to Okoh, Terminal Africa helps in simplifying logistics solutions for business growth across Africa. “Building an e-commerce platform that gives Nigerian businesses the opportunity to sell to customers anywhere in the world”.

He stated further that through leveraging digital and software solutions, businesses had their website integration, payment and logistics solutions all on one platform without difficulty. “Evolving as Nigeria’s premier logistics aggregator merely by a passion fuelled by the rising market demand,” Okoh stated.

Charles Edosomwan, on his part, stated that “there is no commerce without logistics”. Walter Isoko highlighted the impact of intentional growth to the sustainability of any organization. According to Isoko, there would be little or no growth in a business (especially product-based businesses) without logistics.

He also mentioned that business growth is boosted by a blend of ‘people, service, product and innovation’ classified as the PSPI model. “Having great people, providing exceptional service, creating a compelling product and the constant quest for innovation. Simply put, applying the PSPI model in your business might just be what sets you apart, just like Terminal Africa,” Isoko stated.

Speaking further, Isoko stated that logistics remains the lifeblood of SMEs, and the supply chain. According to him, businesses can explore the endless possibilities offered by Terminal Africa through its website.

“Terminal Africa combines premium top-tier logistic solutions through strategic partnerships with industry-leading logistic companies such as Kwik, GIG Logistics, DHL, GoKada, and others to propagate the importance of logistics to small, medium, and large businesses in Nigeria and across Africa,” Isoko disclosed.
