QNET has called on families and communities to pay more attention to the health and well-being of mothers as part of this year’s Mother’s Day celebration.

The company said mothers continue to play a major role in keeping homes healthy, caring for children, supporting family needs, and balancing work and personal responsibilities, often at the expense of their own well-being.

QNET, in a statement, said growing economic pressure and work-related stress are affecting many families, especially women who manage both professional and household responsibilities daily.

The company cited recent surveys showing that 75 percent of Nigerian employees experience work-related stress, while 60 percent regularly feel overwhelmed by daily demands.

QNET also highlighted challenges linked to access to clean water and sanitation in Nigeria. According to data from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Joint Monitoring Programme referenced by the company, millions of Nigerians still lack access to safe drinking water, sanitation facilities, and proper handwashing systems.

Speaking on the importance of the Mother’s Day celebration, Ayokunmi Solesi, general manager of QNET Nigeria, said mothers remain the backbone of many households.

“Mothers give their time, energy, and care so consistently that their own wellbeing can sometimes take a back seat. Mother’s Day is an important reminder that supporting mothers’ health and wellness is not just a personal priority, but a family and societal one,” he said.

Solesi added that the company’s 2026 global campaign, “Energised, Every Day,” focuses on practical wellness solutions that support healthier living.

According to him, when mothers are properly supported and energised, the positive impact is felt across the entire household.

As part of its wellness advocacy, QNET highlighted some of its products designed to support healthier lifestyles, including EDG3 Plus nutritional supplements, the HomePure Nova water filtration system, and the Amezcua Bio Disc 3 wellness product.

The company said the products are aimed at promoting better hydration, improved nutrition, and overall well-being for families.

QNET encouraged families to go beyond celebrating mothers during Mother’s Day by creating healthier environments and supporting better daily habits that improve long-term well-being.
