Protesters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State have defied the orders of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State to stay at home and not embark on #ENDSARS protest, as they marched on the streets on Tuesday.
Videos posted by eyewitnesses showed young people chanting “Police go Sambisa, if Port Harcourt don tire you, go Sambisa.”
As early as 6am on Tuesday, protesters gathered in front of the Pleasure Park, the venue the governor had warned will be monitored by security men. From the venue, they marched to the government house, where they have blocked the road leading into the government house.
