Experts have urged entrepreneurs in Africa’s biggest economy to prioritise work-life balance in their businesses to drive productivity and growth.

The experts who spoke at the Accelerate Plus conference emphasized the need for business operators to prioritize their well-being, and to take steps to reduce stress while promoting physical and mental health.

“Success is never about one’s resources; rather it’s about resourcefulness. Never allow the excuses of ‘not knowing how to’ hinder one from ‘learning how’ and create a quality cycle that will equally serve as a support system,” said Success Ajilore, convener of the conference.

The conference also marked the launch of Ajilore’s three new books, which provided practical strategies for achieving success, a healthy balance between work, business, and personal life.

Speaking also, Wisdom Ezekiel, co-founder of Pertinence Group, talked extensively on small beginnings. He noted that no one should be despised on their way to the top and success is a journey.

He stressed that a support system should be provided when good and young talents are discovered. “Life is all about impact and we must create ladders for others to rise,” he said.

Oladipupo Clement, CEO of Lifepage, spoke on five systems that will help businesses grow. He highlighted the systems as value creation, marketing, sales, value delivery, and financial.

The conference featured a variety of speakers, including; Wisdom Ezekiel, co-founder of Pertinence Group; Oladipupo Clement, CEO of Lifepage; Victoria Ibhawa, HR professional & founder, Inspired for Impact; Olufemi Adekunle – legal technocrat & president and founder of The Adekunle Child Foundation and Sunday Olorunsheyi, co-founder of Pertinence Group who shared their knowledge and experience on how to achieve business success, a healthy balance between work and personal life.
