The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has promoted and decorated a total of 206 Police officers of different ranks in both Plateau and Imo States.
Emmanuel Adesina, the Commissioner of Police, Plateau State Command, who decorated 104 newly promoted officers of the Command on behalf of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in an elaborate ceremony held at Officers’ Mess in Jos, the State Capital,
charged the officers to be steadfast, diligent, and responsible in their new capacities.
He emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity in their duties, reminding them of the critical role they play in maintaining peace and security in the State.

The Plateau State Commissioner of Police however commended the newly promoted officers for their hard work and dedication to duty, which has led to their promotion.
In Imo State Police Command, 102 police officers serving in the State were decorated with different ranks, following their recent promotions by the Police Service Commission.
The decorations were conducted by Aboki Danjuma, the Imo State Commissioner of Police on behalf of Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
The newly promoted officers include one Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), 29 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP), 6 Superintendents of Police (SP), and 67 Deputy Superintendents of police (DSP).
