The Katsina State Police Command has arrested seven suspected armed robbers linked to a June 19 attack in Unwala Quarters, Katsina.
Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, Police Spokesman, said the suspects allegedly broke into a residence around 2:00 a.m., stealing two motorcycles, seven phones and two power banks.
“Upon receipt of the report, operatives were immediately drafted to investigate the incident. Through an intelligence-led operation, the team successfully apprehended all seven primary suspects involved in the robbery,” the Police Spokesman said.

Following an intelligence-led operation, the suspects, Sulaiman Sabo (alias Labule), Muhammad Aminu, Muhammad Yahaya, Muhammad Daddy, Aliyu Kabir, Musa Kabir and Ahmad Usman were arrested and reportedly confessed.
Recovered items include five phones, two power banks, cutlasses, a pinch bar, a flashlight and master keys.
Police said four accomplices remain at large, while efforts continue to arrest them and recover remaining items.
Commissioner of Police CP Ali Umar Fage praised the operatives and urged residents to support security efforts. The suspects will be charged after investigations.
