Determined to fight tooth decay among Nigerians, P&G has, through its Oral-B brand, collaborated with the Federal Ministry of Health, Lagos State Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education to promote oral health awareness in schools and communities.
Commemorating this year’s World Oral Health Day with the theme ‘Be Proud of Your Mouth,’ Oral-B carried out school/community visits in partnership with the Lagos State government and also conducted community outreach in Sabiru Village in Abuja.
Speaking at the event, Cassie Jaganyi, P&G Corporate Communications AMA sub-Saharan Africa, said Oral-B has always been committed to promoting good oral hygiene practices and believes that this partnership will go a long way in achieving the goal of improving oral health in the country.

“We are delighted to partner with the Federal Ministry of Health and Lagos State Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education to drive oral health awareness in Nigeria,” Jaganyi said.
Thompson Edidiong, senior category manager, Market Strategy and Planning, Oral Care of P&G, said the company has been a long-standing economic and social partner to the Lagos State Government.
Edidiong said in 2022, P&G, through its Oral-B brand partnered with the Lagos State Ministry of Health to raise awareness on oral hygiene in schools, reaching no fewer than 2,000 students with the message of brushing twice daily.
