A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State, Noah J. Wadata has advised Governor Bala Mohammed to use his victory at the Supreme Court to redouble his developmental strides in the state and improve on his good governance from his first tenure in office for sustainable development.
Wadata, in a statement in Bauchi, noted that it was clear that it was the hard work and dedication to good governance, security and infrastructural development that gave Bala the re-election for another four years in office.
He also noted that the wide celebration in all towns and villages that greeted his victory at the Supreme Court attested to the confidence reposed in him.
He pointed out that the last four years and seven months had been a testimony that Bauchi State will grow to attain more heights in infrastructural development, security and peaceful co-existence among different ethnic groups in the state.
Wadata congratulated the governor and his deputy, Muhammad Auwal Jatau on their victory at the Supreme Court.
He also said that the victory was indeed for the people of Bauchi who have for long been strangulated by politicians who have no interest of the people at heart.
He particularly commended the governor on his efforts at handling the challenges of insecurity in the state.
“This is a divine intervention, and we salute the Supreme Court justices for proven that they are the last hope of the common man.
“As a true politician, we commend Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad who after his victory, extended hands of fellowship to his opponents. That is the hallmark of a great politician,” he said.
He called on Bauchi state people to forget their political interest, religious and ethinc backgrounds and join hands with Governor Bala to rebuild and restore the glory of the state.
“Your Excellency, your massive votes polled across the state at the election and the affirmation of your victory at the supreme court to come first among other qualified candidates is a sign that you are the popular choice of the peace loving people of Bauchi State.

He praised the executive arm of government at the federal level under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for not interfering in the cases at the Supreme Court especially Kano, Plateau, Zamfara and Bauchi states.
