Oyo State government on Thursday closed down a private school in Ibadan.
The school, Gokbeth International Nursery and Primary, Ijaye was shut for non-compliance with registration procedures.

Salihu Adelabu, the commissioner for education, science and technology, was accompanied during the inspection by the permanent secretary, Olusanjo Adeniyi.
The commissioner, while sealing off the private School, admonished proprietors of private schools to always do what is necessary, in their quests to establish schools.
