Wema Bank has restated its resolve to continue to provide customer-focused banking, as it rounded off the 5 for 5 Season 3 promo with over N90 million disbursed to Nigerians across the country, topping the cumulative N63.3 million from Season 1 and 2, with a total of 1,200 winners surpassing the cumulative 1178 from previous seasons.

The bank stated this at the grand finale of the Season 3 ( 5 for 5) promo, held at its head office, in Lagos, on Friday, and monitored by regulatory bodies, including the Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), and the Lagos State Lotteries Board, where a total of N10 million was won by customers.

Two customers – Olamide Adunni Salau, a Lagos-based, and Rita Joseph Etim, a customer in Calabar, won the star prize of N1 million each, while eight other customers won N250,000 each. Similarly, 30 customers won N100,000 each, while 80 others won N25,000 each.

Tunde Mabawonku, the bank’s executive director, retail and digital, speaking at the grand finale, stated that the Season 3 kick-started with a series of special weekly giveaways of N5,000 each to 200 customers starting from the first week of August and leading up to the first monthly draw.
