Osun electorate will choose me as governor — Oyebamiji, APC candidate

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has expressed confidence that the electorate will elect him governor in the forthcoming poll.

Oyebamiji stated this on Sunday during a meeting with leaders and members of the Association of Mobile Telecommunication Engineers of Nigeria (AMTEN), Osun State Chapter, held in Osogbo.

He was represented at the event by Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, the Chairman of Civic Engagement of the APC Campaign Council.

The APC candidate said he was optimistic that residents of the State would troop out en masse to support him and the party in the election.

“History will be made on August 15 when I emerge as governor of Osun State. I am confident, hopeful in God, and assured of your support that victory will be ours. History will also be made as Osun returns to the progressive path, and I count on you to make that happen,” he said.

Oyebamiji described governance as a serious responsibility, assuring the people that his administration would focus on delivering the dividends of democracy and improving citizens’ welfare.

He said his government would adopt a comprehensive approach centred on economic security, healthcare, education, and social protection, with expanded social safety nets aimed at reducing poverty and improving living standards.

According to him, his administration would create opportunities for economic growth by supporting small-scale enterprises and encouraging the expansion of large businesses through improved funding, infrastructure, and capacity development.

He said his policy agenda, codenamed “PROSPER,” would be fully implemented to improve the living conditions of residents across the state.

The APC candidate urged the public to ignore what he described as campaigns of calumny against him, stressing that his upbringing and public service record were rooted in humanity and service to the people.

“Vote for me and let us make history together. Your support will be rewarded with good governance. I will not disappoint you. Rather, I will deliver results that future generations will be proud of,” he added.
