Oral Health Advocacy Initiative team storms Liberia for oral health

Japa in the health sector: A crisis in the making

As part of her efforts to bring oral health care to the less privileged, through public awareness creation on oral health, resulting in comprehensive oral health care delivery in Nigeria and Africa at large, Oral Health Advocacy Initiative (OHAI) has sent a team of surgeons and other clinical staff, with the company of community Mobilizing Officers to Liberia.

According to a statement by the OHAI’S Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ver-or Ngutor said the mission is to reduce cleft and other oral health related challenges to the barest minimum, through community mobilization, oral health education and treatment of oro-facial diseases in Liberia.

Ohai is a non-governmental Organization (NGO) that seeks to advance the course of oral and other health related challenges in Nigeria and Africa atlarge, working incollaboration with “Smile Train”,a global children and women charity foundation, partnering with doctors and hospitals to support the free treatment of cleft lips/palates.
