OGZ Foundation

On December 19th 2019, Ibadan in Oyo State will host an event targeted at providing youths an opportunity to hone their skills by acquiring leadership lessons from some of Nigeria’s most successful leaders from the business and public sectors. The event tagged “Milli-e-Naira Conference” is a one-day event that will give Oyo State-based youths a platform to engage and forge mentorship associations with their role models while learning important life and business lessons.

The conference is being organized by the OGZ Foundation; an organization dedicated to enhancing Gen Zs and Millennials by empowering them through education, entrepreneurship and community outreach. According to the Founder of the OGZ Foundation, Damilare Zaccheus, the purpose of the Mill-e-Naira Conference is to help youths unlock their potentials so they can add visible value to their immediate communities and Nigeria at large. Zaccheus added that the event will be declared open by Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin, Nigeria’s youngest head of a legislature; who at 32 years is the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly. His story is inspiring and we believe he has valuable knowledge to share with participants at the event”

Participation at the event will be open to youths from various sectors of the economy who are interested in career development and entrepreneurship. During the course of the conference, there will be Keynote Speeches, Panel Discussions, Elevator Pitches, Networking plus Q&A Sessions between mentors and over 600 young Nigerians between the ages of 20 and 32 years. “We want participants to leave the conference inspired by the stories of how public and private sector leaders achieved success in their chosen careers and equipped with the resources to take charge of their destiny and control their narrative,” said Edward Israel-Ayide, Public Relations and Partnerships Lead at OGZ Foundation.

OGZ Foundation is working with various partners in the public and private sector who are invested in promoting youth entrepreneurship and are driven by a desire to support innovative ideas and platforms that bridge the gap between Nigerian youths and the opportunities that will help them grow.
