Ogun Governor gifts official cars to new permanent secretaries

The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has provided newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and the Auditor-General in the Civil Service with brand new cars as a gesture to support their morale and enhance service delivery.

During a ceremony at the Government House in Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun handed over the official vehicles, emphasizing that this move is aimed at facilitating their mobility, increase productivity, and fulfill his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of workers.

Representing the Governor, Kolawole Fagbohun, the Head of Service, assured that the government would consistently prioritize the well-being of employees and the general public, ensuring the equitable distribution of democratic benefits throughout the State.

Abiodun encouraged the recipients of the cars to continue their dedication, contribute to the growth of the civil service, and enhance their leadership skills.

“I want to call on the Permanent Secretaries and indeed, the whole Civil Service, to continue to support our Government in the ‘Building Our Future Together’ agenda. Let’s join hands together to move the State forward” he said.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Olayinka Elemide, Ministry of Culture and Tourism; Oluwatosin Oloko and Bureau of State Pensions; Adesoji Adewuyi, appreciated the Governor for the good gesture extended to them and promised to further put in their best to continue to keep the flag of the State flying.
