No project will be abandoned in Yobe State -Buni

Yobe State Governor, Mai-mala Buni has assured that all projects under construction would be completed and put to use for the benefit of the people during his administration.

Buni who gave the assurance in an interview with journalists reiterated that focus of his administration is to ensure that all ongoing projects are completed to serve the people.

The Chairman, APC Caretaker Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee said: “Government would ensure that the projects are completed and put to use for government to have value for its money and for the people to enjoy these projects”.

He disclosed that Yobe State Government under him has awarded contracts for the construction of modern markets in Damaturu, Potiskum, Gashua and Nguru while that of Geidam would soon be awarded.

“Similarly, the township road projects in Damaturu, Gashua, Nguru, Potiskum and Geidam were awarded to reputable contractors for us to have value for our money”, Buni said.

According to him: “The renovation, expansion and upgrading of health facilities as well as the construction of the Potiskum trailer park are also priority projects of his administration which would continuously be supported for timely completion.

“Government engaged contractors with the capacity to execute projects that would stand the test of time. The government will continue to patronise contractors who execute quality work and respect the contractual agreements in executing their projects”.

Buni charged the contractors to live up to the contractual agreements assuring that the State Government would on its part fulfil its obligations for smooth execution of the projects.
