Nigeria, UAE reach agreement on visas — FG

FG implements National Values Charter to win citizens’ trust

Federal government on Monday said it has reached an agreement with the UAE that will enable Nigerians access the UAE visa.

Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation announced this while briefing journalists after the weekly federal Executive Council FEC meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu.

He also announced that FEC directed the Ministry of Budget to come up with an amendment to the 2024 budget

He disclosed that the President will also meet with Labour again on Thursday this week to fanalise the issues around the Minimum wage.
Thereafter, the President will submit the minimum wage.

Idris disclosed that federal government is more disposed to giving wages that will not lead to inflation. The FEC meeting discussed the general principles and parameters of the wage increase.

“Yes, there will be wage increase, but the President is still deepening his consultations after which the figures will be released to the National Assembly.
