A transformative initiative aimed at redefining faith, leadership, and global impact has been unveiled at the maiden edition of the Kingdomite Conference, an annual prophetic alignment designed to equip a new generation of spiritual intellectuals with the spiritual intelligence required for global relevance.

Organised by Next-Gen Xpression, the movement seeks to extend kingdom principles beyond the four walls of the church into everyday life, leadership, innovation, and nation-building. The conference, according to a statement, represents a bold vision to empower individuals to live meaningful, purpose-driven lives while influencing systems and societies through faith-inspired excellence.

Speaking during the event, Kenny Williams, Founder of Next-Gen Xpression and Convener of the Kingdomite Conference, described the initiative as a movement focused on democratising spiritual intelligence for global relevance.

“We are taking the kingdom beyond the four walls of the church so that people begin to live meaningful lives that are not restricted to what happens in church. We are equipping the next generation to position themselves with the leverage, influence, and capacity needed to execute God’s agenda on earth as it is in heaven,” he said in the statement.

He explained that the conference is designed to raise a generation of intellectuals who understand the practical application of spiritual intelligence to contemporary living. By blending kingdom culture with a dynamic pop culture atmosphere, the conference delivers an unorthodox teaching experience that inspires innovation, leadership, and societal transformation.

He noted that the initiative serves as a key expression of Next-Gen Xpression’s mission to install kingdom culture in contemporary life and foster global relevance.

As a faith-based Community Interest Charity, the organisation also demonstrated its commitment to social impact through education and entrepreneurship initiatives. It empowered 15 beneficiaries through scholarships and business grants, supporting exceptional students who could not afford tuition and enabling emerging entrepreneurs to establish small businesses.

‘’As we all know, education is the lifeline of any nation, and financial limitations should never prevent anyone from being educated. Entrepreneurship is also one of the key ways to reform a nation. Not everyone will secure traditional employment, but people can be positioned to create opportunities that improve society and elevate their own lives,” Williams added.

The inaugural edition of the conference was hosted at Obafemi Awolowo University, Williams’ Alma Mater, which he described as a strategic and divinely inspired choice, adding that the institution is known for its longstanding reputation for producing exceptional leaders and captains of industry across sectors, including entertainment, academia, and sports.

“There is something unique about OAU’s culture of excellence. The institution has consistently produced great leaders across different fields, and we believe God is positioning us to raise Kingdom giants through this conference who will shape the next decades,” he said.

Addressing the future of leadership and innovation, the convener urged students and young professionals to position themselves for global relevance, stressing that the coming decade will demand system thinking, creativity, and solution-driven leadership.

He encouraged participants to think beyond institutional boundaries, adopt long-term perspectives, and develop innovative ideas capable of solving long-standing societal challenges.
