The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has partnered with Le Look House of Shoes/Bags to increase the volume and value of non-oil exports and increase foreign exchange earnings in the country.
Nonye Ayeni, Executive Director, NEPC, said that the collaboration aligns with the President’s renewed hope agenda, which is focused on job creation, poverty alleviation, and removing people from the streets.
She stated this at the MoU signing ceremony between NEPC and Le Look at the NEPC Headquarters on Thursday in Abuja
“I see a very good collaboration between Le Look and NEPC for the interest of the youth, women, special needs people, and Nigeria as a whole, because it will lead to exports,” Ayeni stated.

Ayeni, who visited the firm earlier, expressed amazement at the quality and variety of Le Look’s products, ranging from backpacks, cups, hats and shoes.
She was particularly impressed by Safiya Yerashidat, a physically challenged lady who will serve as an ambassador to inspire others with special needs. “It’s not the end of the world; they can still do great things, and Le Look has provided that opportunity,” Ayeni said
On her part Chinwe Ezenwa, CEO of Lo Look, shared the company’s story, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic and initially focused on training women facing gender-based violence, partnering with the UN for sponsorship.
She added that the company has since expanded its training to include university graduates and other individuals passionate about acquiring new skills.
Ezenwa also said that with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NEPC, Le Look is committed to adding value to Nigeria’s GDP and economy.
