The death has been announced of Aneche Benedicta Bamidele Molokwu, wife of Akunnia Ikem Molokwu, retired Colonel, former Special Adviser on Security to Governor Peter Obi in Anambra State.

Molokwu, a deaconess of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Onitsha, passed on in the early hours of 13 December 2024, aged 70. She is survived by her husband, Molokwu; daughter, Ogechukwukamma Blessing Chimama’da Molokwu; two step daughters, two step sons and step grandchildren; a sister, Bose Musa; a brother, James Akota Ordia Ehinomen; as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and cousins.

Lying in state and funeral service will take place on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 06.30am at her home, 15 Ogbuli Nwawulu Street, Inland Town, Onitsha.

Interment will follow by 12 noon at Ehanle Ewu, Edo State, according to the statement signed by Chinedu Molokwu on behalf of the family.
