Ministry announces date for 10th anniversary summit

The Kingdom Men Global Network (KMEN) a non-denominational church-based ministry to men founded in 2009 has announced the date for its 10th anniversary summit.

Themed, ‘The Love Challenge’, the 2023 summit will be held between Thursday, 11 May and Sunday 14 May, 2023 in Lagos.

According to a statement signed by Dennis Onwuegbu, the summit will run each day between Thursday and Saturday 9 am, 12.30 pm and 5 pm. Each day of the event will close with the evening sessions of Teaching and Impartation Services.

However, a musical concert tagged, Men @Worship will be held on Sunday evening between 4 pm and 7.30 pm. The Concert will feature Worship Ministers Olumide Iyun, David Nkennor, the King’s Voices among others.

According to the statement, Mega Summit 2023 opens on Thursday with Men In Leadership Summit (MiLEADS) and it will discuss the subject: Leading For Healing; The Love Challenge in Nation Building; Friday, 12 May will open with Men in Church Leadership Summit (MiCLEADS) and will discuss the topic: Leading for Healing; The Love Challenge in the Body of Christ.

“The theme for this tenth edition of Mega Summit is coming at a time when Nigeria has just survived one of the most difficult presidential elections which exposed the weakness of our nation along ethnic and religious lines. Without being told, there is an urgent healing that must take place if the country will make the much-needed progress,” Remi Akano, founder, KMEN stated.

He disclosed that God had revealed the theme at the close of last year “well ahead of the general elections. Just to confirm to us that nothing takes God by surprise”.

Participants at this year’s Mega Summit will be drawn from different Christian denominations as usual while guests are expected from the Ministry’s representatives from Liberia and Sierra Leone.

According to the statement, Nigeria’s former ambassador to the United Kingdom, Christopher Kolade; Chairman Governing Board, Nigerian Prize for Leadership, Anya O. Anya, and Chairman of Reconstruction Actualisation Movement, Henry Ayoola and a host of other reputable Nigerians will grace the KMEN 10th anniversary.

Apart from the trio of Kolade, Anya and Ayoola, the event will also feature Dr Biodun Adedipe who is the Principal Partner, Biodun Adedipe & Associates, Solomon Adegbolagun (President, Centre for Righteous Living); and Femi Albert Oduwole (Presiding Pastor, Triumphant Nation Everywhere).
