Malaysia traders market launched to promote bilateral business development with Nigeria

Malaysia Traders Market (MTM) has been launched to promote bilateral trade and investment development between Nigeria and Malaysia, and to boost the non-oil sector of the nation’s economy.

The collaboration was launched at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria.

The Malaysia Traders Market, according to the organisers, has been a dependable ally with Nigeria in its quest to boost the non-oil sector of the economy.

The theme of the launch, ‘Bilateral Trade and Investment Development’, drew many dignitaries, among whom was the Malaysian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador Aiyub Omar.

Addressing the media at the event, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), MTM, Olawale Sulaiman Ayinla, reiterated the many functions of the organisation.

According to Ayinla, the functions include business and trade consultancy, products and service marketing, logistics and distribution, custom clearance, import and export.

He also listed government permits, branding and promotion, NAFDAC registration among the functions.

“Malaysia Traders Market is a Malaysia and Nigeria bilateral business development and e-commerce warehousing system,” Ayinla said.
