LEAP Africa, one of Africa’s leading non-profit organisations focused on youth leadership development recently launched ‘Navigating Your Teenage Years’, one of its latest book publications specifically designed for teenagers.

The book, which was launched in Lekki on Thursday 8 June 2023, offers an array of stories and valuable insights on how teenagers can embark on a journey of self-discovery and become catalysts for change within their communities.

The publication is a comprehensive resource material aimed at equipping teenagers with the essential tools for self-leadership, enabling them to unlock their full potential through self-awareness, expanding their horizons, and transcending societal constraints.

Clare Omatseye, board chair LEAP Africa and MD, JNC International Nigeria Ltd, said the new book exemplifies LEAP Africa’s unwavering commitment to generating insightful pieces that foster leadership development and drive transformative change in Africa.

According to her, the new book uses stories of some of LEAP Africa’s outstanding alumni to guide adolescents as they navigate their teenage years and serves as a resource for improving their agency into becoming transformational leaders and social change actors.

“We are incredibly thrilled to introduce ‘Navigating Your Teenage Years’ to the world. This book is a tribute to teenagers’ limitless imagination and adventurous spirit. We hope that readers will embark on an exhilarating journey and establish a deeper connection with their dreams and aspirations,” Omatseye said.
