The Lagos State government has reopened job portal to hire teachers, as part of Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration plan to restore the very discipline, structure, ethics and investments that make public education attractive.

According to information from Lagos State government job website, https://tescomjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng/, the vacancies available include education officer, II grade level eight, and higher instructors, grade level eight.

The qualification requirements for applicants applying for education officer 11 include Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) and a first degree, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed/B.Sc Ed/B.A Ed) in Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology, Home Economics and other courses relevant to the above-listed subjects.

Others include Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and PGDE; Bachelor of Engineering ( B. Eng.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), and Higher National Diploma (HND)/Technical Teachers Certificate (TTC).

Having a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is an added advantage.

Interested applicants are required to fill in all required forms (register or login), check for job openings, fill all required forms, choose your subject of choice, click the apply button, and print confirmation slip.

According to the Lagos State government job site, interested applicants are expected to file their application on or before Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
