Kwara offers free transportation for KWASU, Unilorin returning students

The Kwara State Government says it has provided extra buses as free transport palliative for the students, who are returning back to schools after Christmas and New Year holidays.

The free transport eases the burden of transportation costs on returning students of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete and University of Ilorin, (UNILORIN), who are returning to their respective campuses.

Damilola Yusuf Adelodun, the Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, stated this on Monday in a statement by Taibat Baba, the Ministry’s Press Secretary.

The Commissioner explained that the State Government is committed to supporting the educational pursuits of its citizens, describing the free transport palliative as a demonstration of its commitment.

Adelodun, however, advised the returning students to take advantage of this opportunity and report to their respective campuses on time, even as she posits that the special measures, specifically put in place to ease their affairs.
