Outrage has continued to trail the disgraceful handwritten jersey number worn by Enyimba Football Club player Innocent Gabriel during their African Football League clash against Wydad Athletic Club in Uyo last Sunday,

The viral picture stirred lots of reactions from football fans kicking against the act of disgracing Nigerian football

Nigerian Journalist Osasu Obayiuwana took to his own Twitter account to condemn the management of the Aba Warriors for the act noting that shirt sponsors will not be happy about the act.

“You think Stake, your shirt sponsor, will be happy with this rubbish, @EnyimbaFC?

“I am sure they won’t be taking kindly to the jokes and derision the brand they are associated with is currently at the very rude end of, when the #AFL should be a good PR window for them.”
