JSAID holds annual Blueprint Conference October 3

Jenniez School of African Interior Design (JSAID), Africa’s first and only approved interior decoration educator, is set to empower interior design professionals, architects, skilled workers, artisans, creatives and manufacturers through its annual Blueprint conference.

The conference is now in its third year and this year’s edition, scheduled for October 3, 2020, will take place virtually via Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The theme of the conference, “Be Local, Think Global”, seeks to educate design professionals on the importance of offering a proudly Nigerian product or service which is at par with global standards in all aspects from professionalism, quality, customer service, standards and brand identity, which exceed the client’s expectations of a local brand.

Jennifer Chukwujekwe, founder, JSAID, said this year’s conference will bring together over 5,000 online attendees to experience a live dialogue and exchange of ideas from top leaders who will shape the mind-set of design professionals within the design industry and beyond.

“This conference provides an innovative platform for the public to hear from great thinkers and doers from a myriad of fields, who will debate and discuss the most significant ideas, trends and issues of the day. It demonstrates the commitment to our community by hosting this event annually to enlighten and educate design professionals,” Chukwujekwe added.

JSAID proudly holds a solid reputation as a highly involved interior design school within the community.

The last edition of the conference held on October 5, 2019 brought together 150 design professionals at Oriental Hotel Lekki, Lagos. The theme of the conference was “Collaboration within the interior design industry”.
