Ishaku charges corps members to integrate with indigenes

Taraba State governor, Darius Dickson Ishaku, has enjoined the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the state to utilise every available opportunity to integrate with the people of the state.

 He also said Taraba State is friendly and accommodating to visitors.

The governor stated this at the passing out parade of the Batch B Stream 1 NYSC orientation course held in Jalingo, the state capital.

Ishaku who reminded them that their assessment began in camp also said the training they had would determine their overall performance at the end of the service year.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Yamusa Shita, the governor assured the corps members of  a conducive atmosphere for them to serve in the state.

 He implored them to conduct themselves in a manner expected of leaders of tomorrow.  He further assured them that the State Government would reward excellence and outstanding service.

In her remarks, the State NYSC Coordinator Florence Yaakugh, enjoined the corps members to be obedient to all rules guiding the scheme as indiscipline would not be tolerated.  The Coordinator commended Governor Ishaku and the people of Taraba for their continued support for the Scheme.
