Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, has secured the removal of the name of the freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo nicknamed ” Sunday Igboho” from the wanted list of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

The news of the removal of Sunday Adeyemo from the wanted list was contained in the press release issued and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to Olubadan of Ibadanland, Ayoade Solomon Olugbemiga on Monday.

The freedom for Sunday Adeyemo to move freely without fear of intimidation and harassment was pronounced by President Bola Tinubu, President and Commander-In-Chief of Nigeria Armed Forces during the visit to Aso Rock Villa by Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja

During the said courtesy visit, Olubadan expressed his unalloyed gratitude to president Bola Tinubu for his physical presence at his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland , creation of Ibadan State as earlier requested during the coronation ceremony, removal of Sunday Adeyemo from wanted list and the support of the Federal Government in the total eradication of insecurity which will surely enhance meaningful developmental projects in Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria at large

Oba Ladoja disclosed that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu meant well for Nigeria as a country calling on all the citizens to rally round him to achieve his good intentions for our country

“President Tinubu is fully determine to lead Nigeria to the promised land and ensure that the living standard of all and Sundry is improved” the first class traditional ruler further stressed

The paramount ruler affirmed his earlier promise that he will use the rest of life to serve God and humanity

Earlier during his thank you visit to Olubadan at his residence located at Ondo street, Bodija, Sunday Adeyemo disclosed that Oba Ladoja called him on Friday that his name had been removed from wanted list and he is now free to come home

“My father, Baba Ladoja called me on phone that he had secured my freedom and that I could come home”, Sunday Igboho said.

He appreciated President Bola Tinubu for his magnanimity for removing his name from wanted list, thereby, guaranteeing his freedom of movement.

He expressed gratitude to all that stood by him during his trying period particularly the traditional rulers in Yoruba land

He was warmly received with his large entourage by eminent personalities during the triumphant entry.
