The police in Ebonyi State have confirmed the invasion of Onueke police station, in Ezza South local government area of the state by unidentified gunmen, killing two police inspectors, and a woman who was said to be inside her house during the attack. The incident took place at about 8:30 pm on Friday.

It was gathered that the hoodlums after killing the officers, left with their phones.

But the police later traced the phones to a nearby local government in Ezza South.

It was suspected that the gunmen came for the attack from outside the local government. It was also gathered that the hoodlums made away with two AK 47 rifles from the station.
