As healthcare providers continue to embrace digital transformation, financial resilience remains one of the industry’s biggest challenges. Delayed reimbursements, fragmented payment systems, and limited access to working capital continue to restrict the ability of hospitals and clinics to deliver timely, high-quality care.
To address these challenges, Helium Health has introduced HeliumCredit and HeliumWallet, two integrated financial products designed to simplify healthcare payments and improve access to financing.

Together, the products extend Helium Health’s digital healthcare ecosystem beyond clinical operations by providing healthcare organisations with embedded financial infrastructure that supports sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

HeliumCredit enables eligible healthcare providers to access flexible financing to manage cash flow, invest in critical resources, and maintain continuity of care. HeliumWallet complements this by providing a secure platform for digital payments, revenue collection, provider settlements, transaction reconciliation, and financial reporting, allowing healthcare organisations to manage their financial operations from a single platform.

The product strategy and delivery of both solutions were led by Jacklyn Parm, Senior Technical Product Manager, who worked across engineering, finance, operations, compliance, and commercial teams to translate complex healthcare and financial workflows into intuitive digital products. Jacklyn was responsible for defining the product vision, leading discovery workshops, prioritising roadmap initiatives, developing detailed product requirements, and coordinating cross-functional delivery through to launch.

“Healthcare providers shouldn’t have to manage disconnected systems for clinical operations, payments, and financing. Our objective was to create products that integrate naturally into the existing healthcare journey, giving providers the financial tools they need to operate more efficiently while remaining focused on patient care,” said Jacklyn Parm.

The introduction of HeliumCredit and HeliumWallet represents another milestone in Helium Health’s mission to build an end-to-end digital healthcare platform. By combining healthcare operations with embedded financial services, the company continues to develop technology that enables providers to improve operational performance, strengthen financial sustainability, and ultimately expand access to quality healthcare across Africa.
