Suspected bandits posing as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have reportedly kidnapped 10 individuals from White Hill Hotel on Shiroro Road, Chanchaga Local Government Area (LGA) of Niger State.
According to Zagazola Makama, security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, intelligence sources revealed that the incident occurred at approximately 4:58 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2025.
The armed men allegedly stormed the hotel under the guise of conducting an EFCC operation.

Before gaining access to the guests’ rooms, they reportedly disabled the hotel’s CCTV cameras, ensuring no footage of the attack was captured. Witnesses say the attackers forcibly took 10 people to an undisclosed location.
According to him, security agencies have since launched an investigation into the incident.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Intelligence Department (Acpol SID), confirmed that security operatives were working to identify the perpetrators and locate the victims.

Meanwhile, security experts have urged the public to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activity as efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding the abduction intensify.
