Suspected gunmen attacked a community of Dutse Makaranta in the Bwari area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday night, leaving a trail of fear and uncertainty as they abducted at least five individuals.
According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen accessed the community under the cover of darkness, entering through the hilly terrain that connects Dutse Makaranta to Mpape, another nearby community within the FCT.

The attack unfolded near a Mango tree in an area referred to as New Jerusalem, striking terror into the hearts of residents at approximately 8 p.m. on Saturday.
A resident revealed that dread gripped the community throughout the night, with sleep eluding them until dawn.
“From what we heard, the kidnappers came to this community at around 8 p.m. One woman, three men, and two boys were kidnapped. One of the boys, who is three years old, was found in the bush today (Sunday) morning,” the resident disclosed.
