Ini Esau, newly installed chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Lagos Mainland and District Society, has exemplary leadership qualities that would take the district to greater heights, according to Ini Akpabio, chief executive officer of Growth Stack Limited.
Congratulating Esau and other newly inaugurated executives of the district on behalf of Growth Stack, an ERP software implementation company, Akpabio expressed confidence in the new chairman’s dedication to the profession and pledged to support his tenure.
Esau became the 30th chairman of the district after he was elected and was inaugurated in Lagos alongside other executive committee members for the 2024/2025 chairmanship year.
While delivering an acceptance speech at the investiture ceremony, Esau thanked members of the flagship district for finding him and other executive members worthy of their positions.
“We are confident that under your guidance, the District Society will continue to thrive, setting new standards of excellence and service within the accounting community. Your vision for fostering collaboration and professional development aligns perfectly with our values, and we look forward to supporting you in any way we can.
“While we wish you a successful tenure, we also believe that your leadership will undoubtedly inspire countless professionals and contribute significantly to the advancement of the accounting profession in our region,” Akpabio said.
