Group has unveiled a new initiative aimed at expanding access to funding opportunities for entrepreneurs and small businesses, using empowerment, leadership development and strategic networking as tools for growth.
The initiative was unveiled at the maiden edition of the Power Move Conference, themed “From Hidden to Unstoppable: Take Your Seat at the Table”, held in Jos, Plateau State.
The event brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, emerging leaders, and business owners, with a strong call on participants to overcome fear, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs in order to unlock opportunities, build sustainable enterprises, and maximise their potential.
Convened by Sylvia Matlong Mbai in partnership with Jos Business Women Connect (JBWC), the conference was designed to address some of the key barriers to entrepreneurial success, including limited access to finance, inadequate visibility, weak professional networks, and confidence gaps that often hinder business growth.
The conference also provided direct funding support to emerging entrepreneurs through a business grant programme, reinforcing its commitment to promoting innovation, enterprise development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth.
