Taraba State Governor, Lt. Col. Kefas Agbu Rtd, has Tuesday approved the dissolution of the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of the 16 Local Government Councils in the state.
In a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Yusuf Sanda, and made available to journalists in Jalingo, said The dissolution took effect on the 29th of May 2023.
According to the statement, “The Executive Governor of Taraba state, His Excellency, Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas Ph.D. (Retired) has approved the dissolution of the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of the 16 Local Government Councils in the state.

“The dissolution took effect on the 29th of May 2023.
“The former CTC Chairmen have been directed by the Executive Governor to hand over all government property in their possession to the Head of Local Government Administration HOLGA of their respective Councils with immediate effect”. Statement read.
