Gaia Africa, BusinessDay partner to support women in business

Gaia Africa, Nigeria’s premier business club for professional and businesswomen leaders has launched a partnership with BusinessDay Media that will support its vision of empowering women in business.

According to a statement by the club, the partnership, built on the principles of female leadership and participation in business, will help drive economic growth by providing its members with insightful and relevant analysis on financial trends.

“The barriers for women such as low access to loans or investment, unconscious biases, as well as the other insurmountable challenges that they face in business as well as their professions, remain high. So, supporting them is more important now than ever before,” it stated.

It further noted that aside from providing its members with relevant business and finance analysis and trends, BusinessDay will assist their members make better and more informed business decisions.

“We are established to provide a nurturing and authentic environment for leading women where they can network, partner in business, invest in lucrative deals, learn from each other, socialise, collaborate, sponsor and support one another, while making impact collectively and individually.”

Gaia Africa assists its members to achieve this through specially curated activities, an executive academy for new and refresher learning, relevant partnerships/collaborations, advisory services, peer to peer mentorship, and small group events.
