Maharazu Tsiga, a retired, Brigadier – General, who was a former Director-General of the Natiobal Youth Service Corps (NYSC), along with 12 other persons, have been kidnapped by armed bandits in Katsina State.
The DG, was kidnapped, Wednesday in Tsiga village, Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State. Tsiga and others taken from their homes around midnight, eye witnesses indicated.

Sources said that there was no casualties during the attack on the community.
Efforts to get response from the Katsina State Police Command were unsuccessful, as the command’s spokesperson, Sadig Abubakar, a deputy- supretendent of police (DSP), yet to respond to inquiries at the time of filing this report.
