Football legend Kanu commends Simba TVS on opening of further Keke workshops nationwide

Kanu Nwankwo has commended Simba TVS, distributors of the Official Motorcycle and Tricycle of the Super Eagles, for its unparalleled commitment to customer service nationwide.

A special guest at the inauguration of a further TVS workshop – this one in Kano – on Tuesday, Kanu said that Nigeria’s largest tricycle (keke) company has over the years been totally devoted to growing the business of its partners.

The former Super Eagles captain said: “I commend TVS for their focus on serving their customers nationwide. As Nigeria’s largest selling keke brand, they are trusted by the keke community in every part of the country. It is great that they put their customers interests first by offering the best service and I wish them all the best”.

The Simba TVS team also engaged with distributors, customers as well as Kano State government officials. Reiterating their focus on service superiority as a key focus Business Head-Simba TVS, Mr Mahendra Pratap said that, “The opening of our new workshop in Kano is further testimony to our commitment to supporting the nationwide availability of service centres, which is driven by our desire to support our customers across the length and breadth of the country.”

Pratap added, “Simba TVS has long been associated with the development of football in Nigeria, and as the official Motorcycle and Tricycle of the Super Eagles, it gives us great pleasure and is a massive honour for us to have the legend Kanu Nwankwo himself, with us to meet, greet and interact with our esteemed customers.”

Alongside the opening of their workshop, TVS also flagged off their northern roadshow. ‘The purpose of the roadshow is to go to the hinterland and serve our customers in the farthest regions of the country’ said Mr Karthik Govindarajan, Simba Group, Head of Marketing.

On the new service workshop, Kanu further said: “I’m especially happy to join TVS, a sponsor and supporter of the Super Eagles, for inaugurating their newest service centre and commend the company for its commitment to aftersales service”.

Founded in Nigeria in 1988, the Simba Group has its operations across Nigeria. The conglomerate has investment in several sectors of the country’s economy which include agriculture, alternative energy, backup power supply systems, networking and data transmission, ICT infrastructure development, and commercial vehicles sales and servicing.
