Flexmobile, a telecom brand developed by Hazon Technologies, is set to enter the Nigerian market, with a commercial rollout targeted in June this year, subject to regulatory approval.
Victor ’Gbenga Afolabi, Group CEO, Hazon Technologies, made this disclosure stating that the launch follows over three years of strategic planning and partnership development.
According to him, the company has concluded commercial agreements with Airtel Nigeria and IMBIL Telecom Solutions (IMBIL), a Mobile Virtual Network Enabler, which positions it to operate within Nigeria’s established telecom infrastructure framework.
Afolabi added that Flexmobile is expected to introduce services designed to enhance flexibility and expand access to telecom offerings, particularly for digitally active consumers.
“The launch remains subject to final tariff approval by the Nigerian Communications Commission,” he stated.
Accordingly, it is expected that the entry of MVNO-backed operators could contribute to increased competition and innovation within the Nigerian telecom sector, particularly in the area of value-added services.
