On Monday evening, a fire broke out at the Samsung showroom located at Banex Plaza along Aminu Kano Crescent in Wuse II, Abuja.
A video obtained from X, formerly known as Twitter, showed the electronics store engulfed in flames, accompanied by the unsettling sound of people’s screams in the background.
Swiftly responding to the emergency, the FCT Fire Service was on the scene, led by Amiola Adebayo, the Head of Operations.
“Yes, it’s true. Our men are already on the ground,” Adebayo, told PUNCH.
Their heroic efforts to control the fire were commendable. However, the cause of the fire and any potential casualties remained unknown at the time of this report.
