Hafsat Abdulhamid Adebayo, who is a Bauchi State female journalist in serious need of five million (N5m) for brain tumour surgery.
The journalist, Hafsat has been bedridden for the last four years and was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) after several efforts at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi.
Aishat Abdulhamid who is Hafsat’s elder sister said that Hafsat’s sickness started four years ago. “She has suffered a lot, we have spent all our savings, and friends, family and colleagues have tried. She had surgery last year with the intervention of the Bauchi State Government where the tumour was evacuated and was recovering at home.
She said “We are currently at the JUTH. We were told that she had to undergo another emergency surgery. As we speak, for more than a week, she cannot eat, talk and walk. The consultant told us that she will have the operation this week.
Adding that “We appeal to Nigerians to assist us, may God bless.” Hafsat Adebayo, a mother, who has been a journalist for over a decade, fell sick four years ago when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
