Enviable Group is staking its future on Nigeria’s industrial ambitions with plans to develop a sprawling 25-hectare Industrial Hub Headquarters in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, a fast-rising economic corridor attracting some of the country’s biggest manufacturing and infrastructure investments.

The project, expected to house factories, logistics terminals, training centres, and staff residential facilities, signals the company’s transition from a transportation-focused business into a fully integrated industrial enterprise while positioning it to tap into the growing commercial potential of the Lekki axis.

The company said the Industrial Hub Headquarters will serve as the central base for its expanding operations in manufacturing, transportation, logistics, fleet management, and emerging clean-energy mobility solutions. The development is also projected to create thousands of direct and indirect jobs during both the construction and operational phases.

Speaking during a visit to the newly acquired project site, Group Managing Director of Enviable Group, Chukwuemeka Enviable Ituma, said the investment reflects the company’s long-term vision of building an enduring industrial institution capable of driving economic growth and empowering future generations.

“Every company with vision must plan for the next generation,” he said. “On this 25-hectare site in Lekki, we are laying the foundation for all our industrial activities, factories, and staff quarters. Our goal is to develop the Enviable Integrated Industrial Hub, a world-class industrial ecosystem that will serve as the heartbeat of our operations, innovation, manufacturing, transportation, and human development initiatives.”

According to him, the project goes beyond physical infrastructure and is designed to create a lasting economic legacy through employment generation, entrepreneurship, skills development, and industrial expansion.

The proposed industrial ecosystem will integrate manufacturing facilities, logistics terminals, warehousing operations, assembly plants, maintenance workshops, administrative complexes, research and innovation centres, commercial spaces, and environmentally sustainable infrastructure within one coordinated environment.

The company noted that the inclusion of staff residential quarters reflects its commitment to building a self-sustaining industrial community where productivity, employee welfare, and sustainability can coexist.

Strategically located within the rapidly developing Lekki corridor, the project places Enviable Group close to major infrastructure projects, free trade zones, transport networks, and export-oriented industrial developments that are reshaping Lagos into a regional manufacturing and logistics hub.

Industry observers say the move reflects growing confidence among indigenous companies in Nigeria’s industrial future, particularly within the Lekki axis, which has become a focal point for manufacturing expansion, logistics operations, and large-scale private investment.

The headquarters is expected to support the operations of Enviable Group subsidiaries involved in vehicle assembly, tricycle and motorcycle manufacturing, dispatch services, transportation logistics, and fleet operations.

Beyond its direct industrial impact, the project is also expected to stimulate commercial activities in surrounding communities through supply-chain partnerships, infrastructure development, and increased demand for skilled and semi-skilled labour. Engineers, technicians, transport operators, artisans, administrative professionals, and local suppliers are expected to benefit from the initiative.

Enviable Group, which began as a transportation-focused enterprise, has steadily diversified into mobility solutions, vehicle distribution, fleet services, and industrial operations. The establishment of the Industrial Hub Headquarters marks a major step in its evolution into a broader industrial institution with regional ambitions.

Company representatives added that the development will also serve as a platform for innovation, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and strategic partnerships with local and international investors within Nigeria’s transportation and manufacturing sectors.

As competition intensifies within Nigeria’s industrial and mobility industries, the Enviable Integrated Industrial Hub is expected to strengthen the company’s market position while reinforcing indigenous participation in the country’s industrialisation drive.
