#ENDSARS protest has continued to grow in different cities across the country despite the disbandment of the much hated Special Anti-Robbery Squad by the Inspector General of Police.

While Lagos and Abuja have been the epicentre of the anti-police brutality protest, cities such as Port Harcourt, Ibadan, and Kaduna have also erupted in protest.

For Port Harcourt, protesters were in a daring mood following a directive by the state governor Nyesom Wike that no protest should hold within the capital city. His directive was ignored as thousands of young people including mothers have now taken over major streets in Port Harcourt calling for an end to police brutality.

The Oyo State governor however took a different tactic by directing the police to stay away from protesters and asking soldiers to rather ensure that no lives and properties were lost to the protest.

In Kaduna, while hundreds of young people protested the Acting Commander, Kaduna State Vigilance Service and his team with the police and civil defence were present to ensure the protest is peaceful.

Meanwhile in Lagos, the protesters proceeded to the Lagos Ibadan expressway where they blocked the entire road causing many hours of traffic. In other parts of Lagos, commutters experienced many hours of locked traffic.
