Following the escalation of the #EndSARS protest in Lagos and the mayhem that followed, the Lagos Police command, has released the list of police stations and other public properties destroyed hoodlums.

The police public relations officer, Lagos command, Muyiwa Adejobi, listed the properties on Tuesday, to include Orile police station (burnt), Layeni police station (burnt), Amukoko police station (burnt), Cele outpost, under Ijesha division (burnt), Mushin police division (attacked), Ilembe Hausa police division (attacked).

Adejobi also listed Lagoon Hospital and Ajeromi Ifelodun local government secretariat as other properties also burnt by hoodlum who allegedly hijacked was what supposed to be a peaceful #EndSARS protest.

Adejobi said the Lagos police command was also collating the number of its personnel killed by the hoodlums and would be making this available to the public later.

“The number of policemen killed at various locations within the state will be released soon.

Meanwhile, there have been sporadic shootings by soldiers at the Lekki area of Lagos this evening, just as the police said they were deploying its operatives across the state following the curfew imposed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

“We will make sure there is no total break down of law and order in Lagos State as adequate security operatives have been deployed,” said Adejobi.

The soldiers reportedly took over the Lekki tollgate where the #EndSARS protesters had been holding their rally since the protest began last week, forcing hundreds to scamper to safety.
