EKOEXCEL donates 450,000 technology learning supplement to public school pupils

Determined to enhance learning, EKOEXCEL, the Technical partners for Lagos state’s education transformation programme has donated 450,000 MP3 media devices to Lagos State public primary school pupils.

The donation is part of the move to technologically supplement the ongoing home learning adaptation developed by the Lagos State governor to boost public primary school pupils learning while at home.

Ayodeji Okewumi, director, Policy and Partnership, EKOEXCEL says the MP3 players will give Lagos State pupil households access to parent-friendly, age group-specific home interactive audio lessons.

According to Okewumi, “the digital MP3 player preloaded with daily Audio lessons for the term enabling pupils to learn at their own time and schedule; ensures that all students can access every lesson that is designed for them to further their learning and it would be distributed to all Primary Level households (estimated at 315,000 households in 1016 schools).

Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Governor of Lagos State while receiving the donation on behalf of the State Government, said that with the MP3 players and activity books, pupils can continue to learn irrespective of where they are.
