Upah said, ” The security operatives, some from the Nigeria Police Force, some wearing black tee-shirts, presumably from the Department of State Services (DSS), and others on outright mufti swooped on the 10th Floor of the NLC, arrested the security operative on duty and then commandeered him to the second floor, where he was asked to produce the keys to the offices.

But the DSS said in its official response that it did not carry out the invasion

Upah said he couldn’t speak on the matter at the moment, as the place had been deserted by all the workers.

” You will recall that we said in our statement, that we would not go near that place because we do not know what they must have dropped on the premises
” So, it will be difficult for me to tell you the situation at the Labour House.

Upah said Labour leaders will meet to take the next line of action, adding that as soon as NLC concludes on that, it will be made public.
