Dr Ezekiel Adamu is a dynamic and accomplished serial entrepreneur, investor, and visionary with an impressive track record of success in event management. He initiated his educational path at Arwin College in Leicester City and then embarked on a journey of academic achievement by pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Luton (now known as Bedfordshire). His thirst for knowledge led him to a Master’s degree in Financial Decision Analysis from the University of Portsmouth and culminated in the prestigious attainment of a Doctorate of Science in Business Administration and Corporate Governance.

Ezekiel’s professional journey began at Schlumberger Nigeria, a global leader in energy services and equipment, where he honed his skills and gained invaluable experience. Yet, it was his passion and entrepreneurial spirit that ultimately led to the birth of the iconic Balmoral brand, catapulting him to industry stardom.

Sixteen years ago, Ezekiel embarked on his entrepreneurial odyssey by founding Balmoral Events and Halls. Under his visionary leadership, this venture evolved into a resounding success, boasting over five prestigious event centres/venues in Lagos. These include the renowned Balmoral Convention Centre in the heart of Victoria Island, Villa Valhalla, Balmoral Event Centre in Oregun, and the Balmoral Convention Centre at Sheraton. Ezekiel’s intentional results orientation, ambition, and unwavering commitment to excellence have established him as a proponent of exceptional service delivery. In 2023, he further showcased his innovation with the launch of Kultureland, a family-centric event at the Sheraton, Ikeja, with the vision to export Nigerian culture.

Throughout his career, Ezekiel has successfully managed projects for esteemed state and federal government events in Nigeria and beyond, consistently surpassing expectations and setting new benchmarks for event management services. He is a driving force behind the heritage festival known as L.I.F.E, an acronym for Lagos Independence Festival of Excellence, and the co-founder of Wonderland Lagos holiday festival.

In his unwavering commitment to innovation and industry growth, Dr Ezekiel spearheads groundbreaking initiatives such as the Balmoral School of Events, equipping professionals with proven procedures and principles that have fueled the expansion of the Balmoral Group.

High-profile events like COPA Lagos demonstrate his commitment to utilizing technology for streamlined operations, seamless experiences, and broader audience engagement. He has pioneered events such as the International Drinks Festival and Marlian Fest and played a pivotal role in advising the Style By Zenith Bank (1st and 2nd Editions), integrating innovative technological features to enhance attendee interaction, event promotion, and overall event management.

Beyond event management, Ezekiel has diversified the Balmoral Group with technological ventures and immersive experiences, introducing e-ticketing platforms, virtual reality, and augmented reality to transform traditional concepts and revolutionize the industry. The Wonderland Lagos event held at Eko Energy City in 2022 exemplified the implementation of these technologies, reshaping traditional event concepts into interactive and memorable experiences.
