President Trump has announced that there will be an immediate process of returning millions of criminal aliens to where they came from; stating that it will be done at a level never seen before.

While making a speech from the White House, he said that he will deploy measures aimed to strengthen border patrols, eliminate illegal immigration and dismantle criminal networks operating within the United States.

According to him, this is part of a series of executive orders aimed at the “complete restoration of America” and a “revolution of common sense”.

Halting of all illegal entry points

Declaring a national emergency at the southern border, the President vowed to immediately halt all illegal entry and begin the process of deporting what he termed “millions and millions of criminal aliens”.

“Today, I will sign a series of historic executive orders. With these actions, we will begin the complete restoration of America and the revolution of common sense.

“First, I will declare a national emergency at our southern border. All illegal entry will immediately be halted, and we will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came”, he said.

Reinstating the ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy.

His government would, indeed, pursue the reinstatement of the contentious Remain in Mexico Policy, under which asylum seekers would be made to wait in Mexico for their claims to be resolved. He would also put an end to the practise of catch and release.

“We will reinstate my Remain in Mexico policy, end the practice of catch and release, and deploy troops to the southern border to repel the disastrous invasion of our country”, he said.

To reinforce these measures, he announced the deployment of U.S. troops to the southern border, stating that they would “repel the disastrous invasion of our country”.

Classification of drug cartels as foreign terrorist organisations

The President stated that his administration will treat drug traffickers as foreign terrorist organizations, and while using the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, the government would unleash the entire might of the federal and state law enforcement to deal with foreign syndicates and criminal enterprises which operate inside the US, even in cities.

“Under the orders I sign today, we will also be designating the cartels as foreign terrorist organisations. And by invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, I will direct our government to use the full and immense power of federal and state law enforcement to eliminate the presence of all foreign gangs and criminal networks bringing devastating crime to U.S. soil…We will do it at a level that nobody has ever seen before”, he said.

“As commander-in-chief, I have no higher responsibility than to defend our country from threats and invasions, and that is exactly what I am going to do,” he asserted, promising unprecedented action to address border security and national safety.
