The parents of the 14-year old Nigerian school boy Daniel killed in a London knife attack has issued a tearful statement about the devastation brought by their loss.
It is the first time the Nigerian family is speaking since the dastardly act that took their son Daniel Anjorin as he made his way to school in London.
‘We as a family are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Daniel,” the family said in a statement.
“It is difficult for us at this time to process what has happened to him and that he will never come home.
“Daniel had left the house for school and then he was gone.
“Our children have lost their loving and precious brother.
“we have lost the most loved and amazing son.
“We would like to send our best wishes to the other victims of this unthinkable incident.”
During Arsenal’s match against Bournemouth Saturday, the game witnessed an emotion applause for Daniel.
